Tile and Grout Cleaning in Port St. Lucie

Tile & Grout Cleaning

Tile and grout can be one of those things that you just don’t pay attention to until it is really dirty.  Look at an area of tile and grout in a corner of your room.  Then look in the middle of the room and see the difference. Cleaning tile and grout by yourself can be a daunting task and will not provide the results that you desire. Grout is a very porous material that collects dirt, grime and spills which can discolor the surface. Routine sweeping and mopping will not remove the dirt trapped deep in the pores of your grout. Let the professional staff at Safe Clean restore your grout. We will bring back your grout to its original color using our professional two-part system of an alkaline and acid cleaning.

Shower Tile

We can also clean shower tiles and restore them back to their original beauty.  If you do not like the color you already have, we can also color seal it and change it to a variety of available choices.

Sealing Your Grout

Once your tile is clean, we apply a clear seal on your grout lines to keep your tile and grout look great longer.  It helps prevent and protects grout from dirt getting trapped. It basically puts a barrier between you and your grout making it easier to sweep and mop. Instead of dirt, germs and bacteria getting trapped in porous grout, it stays on top of the clear seal making it easier to maintain your floors.

Color Seal

Is your grout color outdated or would you simply like to have a different color? Removing existing grout can be labor intensive, expensive, and messy.  Safe Clean can apply a color seal to your grout available in many different colors.  Color seal should never be applied to any grout line before your tile and grout have been professionally cleaned.  Trust the professionals at Safe Clean and call us today to schedule a free estimate.

Tile and Grout Cleaning FAQ’s

Are your products safe for children and pets?

All our products are safe for your children and pets as well as safe for the environment.

What is the best thing to use to clean my tile after it is professionally cleaned?

Many retail cleaners contain acids that will erode your grout over time.  We recommend using plain old hot water and rinse your mop frequently. Do not use vinegar or bleach!

Is it true that once my grout is sealed, it will not get dirty?

False. The sealant will help protect your tile and make cleaning easier.  However, just like anything else, the sealer will wear away with time.  Using acidic cleaners will erode the sealer quicker, so always use something that is neutral.

If I mop and clean my tile regularly, do I still need to have it professionally cleaned?

Yes. Routine mopping only cleans the surface. Professional tile and grout cleaning cleans deep into the pores of the tile and grout.

How often should I have my tile and grout cleaned?

As a rule of thumb, tile and grout should be cleaned anywhere from every 18 to 36 months. If you have high traffic areas and pets, you may want to have them cleaned more frequently.
